Unlike to the previous years sketchbook, I took it as a opportunity to spent a bit more time with Sketchbook 2021-2022 trying different types of materials and styles. Perhaps this time I wanted to focus more on quality of the drawings rather than quantity. Although was feeling more restrained to perfectionism, I tried to loosen up my brush strokes and lines, letting the mistakes be part of the final drawing.

Although the comfort zone of drawing the "wild monster with a gaping mouth" has been consistent in this sketchbook, I had a joy in being more comfortable in showing my inner thoughts, allowing to write short "notes" and "comics".

This year was presented with multiple challenges, whether it be personal or work related, but the sketchbook has once again brought me a sense of comfort. I am grateful for this one sticking throught all of it. Onto 2023!
